Terms of Service

1. What TradhaLab is

TradhaLab is a paper-trading platform for Indian markets. It shows real market quotes and lets you place simulated orders with virtual money, so you can practise a trading plan, see your risk before each trade, and learn from the results.

No real orders are ever placed. TradhaLab is not a broker, is not connected to your demat or trading account, and cannot buy or sell any security on your behalf. Your paper capital, profits and losses have no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged.

By creating an account you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use TradhaLab.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. One person, one account.
• You are responsible for your password and for everything done under your account. If you think someone else has access, change your password and sign out other devices from Settings.
• You may reset your paper account to its starting capital at any time. Resetting clears your open positions and history.

3. Plans, Pro and payments

TradhaLab has two plans. Free includes everything needed to practise: paper trading, your trading rules, the journal, a chart, a watchlist, price alerts, replays, performance analytics and joining battles, each within the limits shown in Settings › Plan. Free stays free. Pro is a paid subscription that raises those limits and adds features such as more charts and indicators, longer history, exporting your trades, voice in battle rooms and hosting larger or private battles. What each plan includes is listed on the pricing section of our home page and in Settings › Plan; we may adjust those limits over time, and we will not reduce what Free includes without notice.

Prices and billing. Pro is sold as a monthly or a yearly subscription, at the prices shown in Indian rupees at the time you subscribe. Taxes are included unless the checkout says otherwise. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, monthly or yearly as you chose, and the renewal is charged to the payment method you set up, until you cancel. We will tell you before a price change takes effect; a change applies from your next renewal, and you may cancel before it does.

Payment processing. Payments are collected by a third-party payment provider that is licensed to handle them. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on the provider's secure checkout and are never seen or stored by TradhaLab. By subscribing you also accept the provider's terms, shown at the checkout. If a payment fails, the provider may retry it; if it cannot be collected, your subscription ends and your account returns to Free.

Cancelling. You can cancel from Settings › Plan at any time, with one click and no questions. Cancelling stops future renewals: you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your account then returns to Free. Nothing you made is deleted when a plan ends. Where you hold more than Free's limits allow, what you have stays and remains visible; the limits apply to new additions only.

Refunds. Because you keep Pro for the whole period you paid for, we do not refund the unused part of a monthly or yearly period after a cancellation. If you were charged in error, or a Pro feature was unavailable for a significant part of your period, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we will put it right, by a refund or a credit. Refunds are made to the original payment method and may take a few working days to appear, depending on your bank.

Trials and offers. If we offer a free trial or a discount, its length and conditions will be stated when you take it up. A trial converts to a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel before then.

Pro is a practice tool. Paying for Pro buys more room in a simulator. It does not buy advice, signals, or better results, and it does not change anything in the Disclaimer.

4. Discipline Points

TradhaLab may award Discipline Points for practising with a plan, such as reviewing a closed paper trade, setting a stop loss, reviewing a replay or finishing a battle. The current rules, amounts and daily limit are shown on the Discipline Points page. Points are never awarded for profit.

• No monetary value. Points are not money, currency or property. They cannot be purchased, sold, transferred to another account, withdrawn, or converted to money or anything of money's worth.
• Passes. On the Free plan, points can be spent on a pass that unlocks one Pro feature once or for a set time. Its cost, what it unlocks, when it ends and its monthly limit are shown before you redeem it. A redeemed pass can't be refunded, moved or exchanged. One not used before it ends expires with the points spent on it, and one left unused when you upgrade to Pro is not refunded, since Pro includes it.
• Corrections. We may correct or remove points that were awarded through abuse of the service, through a system error, or in breach of these terms, and we may add points that a system error kept from you.
• Changes. We may change how points are earned, the amounts and the limits, with reasonable notice in the app. Points already earned stay on your account unless they are corrected as above.
• Ending. Points belong to the account that earned them and end with it: deleting your account deletes its points.

5. Acceptable use

Use TradhaLab for its purpose: practising and learning. Do not

• scrape, copy or redistribute market data or other content from the service;
• probe, overload or interfere with the service, or try to bypass risk rules, plan limits, rate limits or access controls;
• harass, threaten or deceive other traders, or post content that is unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit;
• impersonate anyone, or present TradhaLab results as real trading returns;
• use automated tools to trade or join battles on your behalf;
• share one Pro subscription between several people, or use a payment method that is not yours to use.

6. Trading Battles and chat

Battles are paper-trading challenges between traders. Everyone starts with the same virtual capital and the same risk rules, and the highest return wins. Results are for fun and learning; there are no cash prizes and nothing of monetary value is at stake.

Battle rooms include text chat and, for Pro members, voice. Hosts can mute traders in their room, and a trader can be removed from a battle only before it starts. Voice is live only and is not recorded by TradhaLab.

Play fairly. Exploiting a bug, colluding to manipulate standings, or abusing other traders may lead to your account being suspended.

7. Market data

Quotes, candles and ticks come from third-party market data providers. They may be delayed, incomplete or occasionally unavailable, and the service may be offline for maintenance. Market data on TradhaLab is for practice only and must not be relied on for real trading decisions.

8. No investment advice

TradhaLab, its features, the content of battles and chat, and anything shown on the site are not investment advice, a research report, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. TradhaLab is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser, research analyst or stock broker. Read the full Disclaimer.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post: your display name, avatar, trade reviews and chat messages. You give TradhaLab permission to store and show that content to the people it is meant for, such as the other traders in a battle room, so the service can work. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

10. Changes to the service

TradhaLab is evolving. We may add, change or retire features, adjust starting capital, risk rules or plan limits, and reset paper accounts if needed, for example after a data error. We try to give notice of significant changes but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. If we retire a Pro feature you paid for and do not replace it with something comparable, you may cancel and ask for a pro-rata refund of the remaining period.

11. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting permanently removes your account, paper trades, trade history and watchlist, and cancels any Pro subscription with it; the unused part of a paid period is not refunded. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and may remove content that does. If we close your account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we will refund the unused part of any paid period.

12. Liability

TradhaLab is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradhaLab and the people who build it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including decisions you make with real money elsewhere, inaccurate market data, or loss of paper-trading records. For a paid subscription, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, or affects what you pay or what Pro includes, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use TradhaLab after a change means you accept the new terms.
